Which leagues can be played on Sorare?

Before choosing which players to buy, you should have decided beforehand which league you want to play. You can choose this according to your affinity for leagues, but also consider looking at the match schedule.

It is better to buy players from leagues that have just started, than from leagues that are ending soon. Note that it is possible to enter several different teams in different leagues.

Do you want to have an overview of the 9 leagues you can participate in? We present them to you in the following article.

The Academy

The Academy is designed so that players who have invested little in Sorare can still earn rewards.

To participate in the Academy, you need:

Unlike other leagues, the rewards in this league do not depend on the other Sorare managers. They are distributed according to the points you and your team score during the GW.

It is not possible to play in the Academy if you are already registered in one of the other leagues.

Here is the breakdown of the Academy rewards:

  • Score > 440: a Tier 2 Limited card
  • Score > 390: A Tier 3 Limited card
  • Score > 300: A Star Common
  • Score > 165 : A Tier 1 Common
  • Score > 110 : Tier 2 Common
  • Score > 0 : Tier 3 Common

Everyone is entitled to a reward!

The All-Star League

The All-Star Competition allows players from any league to participate. Whether they are players from European, American or Asian leagues, all of them can be lined up for your Game Week, as long as they have a match scheduled.

This is the league where the most players sign up. The rewards are therefore more important since they are based on the number of coaches registered in each league.

The Under 23 League

As the name suggests, this is a league where only players under 23 can play. In reality, some 23 year old players who just turned 24 before July can sometimes register. You just have to look at the players’ indications on Sorare Data, as shown in the example below:

Apart from this age constraint, players from all leagues can participate in the U23 league. This is one of the most competitive leagues, as the best scorers are nowadays U23 (Mbappe, Haaland…) and coaches prefer to play them in this division rather than in the All-Star or Europe.

The Champion Europe league

This division is more restrictive, since you can only enter players from the following leagues:

  • Bundesliga
  • La Liga Santander
  • Ligue 1
  • Premier League
  • Serie A

You can choose to mix players from these leagues to make up your team for the Champion Europe division.

The Challenger Europe league

This competition includes some of the lesser known divisions in Europe. You will be able to include players from the following leagues:

  • Austrian Bundesliga
  • Eredivisie
  • Soccer League Championship (English second division)
  • Jupiler Pro League (Belgium)
  • Premiership (Scotland)
  • Primeira Liga (Portugal)
  • Russian Premier League
  • Spor Toto Süper Lig (Turkey)
  • Super League (Switzerland)
  • Superliga (Denmark)

The America league

As its name suggests, this league covers some American leagues:

  • Liga MX (Mexico)
  • MLSPA (United States)
  • Primera A (Colombia)
  • Primera División (Peru)
  • Superliga Argentina de Fútbol
  • Concacaf Champions League
  • CONMEBOL Libertadores

The Asia league

The last league in which you can involve your players is the Asia Division. For this, your players must be involved in one of the following leagues:

  • Chinese Super League
  • J1 League
  • K1 League
  • AFC Champions League

Underdog league

The Underdog league aims at playing players with low scores.

Here are its conditions:

  • All players must have an average score of 50 maximum in the last 15 games
  • 4 limited cards must be lined up (if it’s the Underdog Limited league)
  • Maximum 1 Common card
  • Maximum 1 Rare, Super Rare or Unique card

Specialist league

The Specialist is a mix of several criteria. The particularity of this league is that it allows the best ranked players to win a card of a higher scarcity than the one they are playing.

For example, you can win a rare card by playing Specialist Limited.

Here are the requirements for playing the Specialist:

  • No captaincy bonus
  • No more than 2 players from the same team
  • 2 players with a score of 40 or less in the last 15 games
  • 1 player maximum with an L15 of 60 or more
