Sorare Set news
After Winter and Stellar, Sorare launched Colors on June 2, 2026. Sorare Colors is the free World Cup 2026 event inside Sorare Set, with national-team flavor, special packs, missions, progression levels, raffles and visual bonuses on selected cards.
If you are new to Sorare Set, remember this: Colors is a guided progression event. You pick a national team, open your starter pack, build your roster, submit lineups and move from level to level on the board.
In short
- Start: June 2, 2026 at 11:00 CET.
- Theme: World Cup 2026, international games and national-team matchups.
- Entry: free, with a 10-card Starter Pack.
- Goal: build lineups, complete missions and progress through levels.
- Resources: Colors packs, Essence, Gems, Wheel tickets and raffles depending on the event rules.
- Beginner warning: do not spend Gems or Essence before understanding stars, positions and missions.
What is Sorare Colors 2026?
Sorare Colors is the Sorare Set Colors event built around the 2026 World Cup atmosphere. It gives players a free path to start, collect Set cards, build lineups and chase progression rewards without immediately entering the paid-card market.
The event uses a colorful international theme: national-team choice, players ranked from 1 to 5 stars, Colors packs, daily missions and a trophy-style board to climb.
This is not a promise of profit. The smart approach is to understand the rules first, then decide whether opening extra packs makes sense for your own progression.
Starter Pack Colors: how to start the free mode
At launch, the onboarding flow asks you to pick a national team. Then you receive a Colors Starter Pack to begin building your roster.
According to Sorare’s official information, the Starter Pack contains 10 cards, with no 1-star player, including:
- 3 goalkeepers
- 2 defenders
- 2 midfielders
- 2 forwards
- 2 Shiny cards
- 1 Holo card
The goalkeeper detail matters. Goalkeepers are often the position that blocks a lineup, so receiving several of them gives beginners more flexibility.
Sorare Colors levels and rewards
The Colors board is built around levels. Each level asks you to reach a score target or complete a progression step. When you clear a level, you can unlock rewards such as Essence, Gems, packs, Wheel tickets or raffle entries depending on the exact event rules.
The idea is simple: build your lineup, score enough points, move to the next level and unlock better rewards as the board becomes harder.

This block explains the logic of the board. Always check the live Sorare interface for the exact targets and current rewards.
Colors missions: Wheel, raffles, Club of 100 and Golden Score
Colors is not only a board. The event also pushes daily missions and side objectives. They matter because they can give you Wheel tickets, raffle entries and extra ways to progress without opening packs randomly.
The priority is simple: complete the daily objectives when they fit your roster, try to spin the Wheel as often as possible, and avoid wasting Essence or Gems before you know which objective you are chasing.
How to get more Sorare Colors cards
Once you understand the rewards, the next question is: how do you move toward those levels without doing anything random? In Colors, this mostly comes through packs, missions, Essence and Gems.
The healthiest rhythm is to open what Sorare gives you for free or through earned resources, then complete your group only if a pack actually improves your lineups.
Bronze Pack
Official price: 1000 Essence.
This pack can contain Shadow cards. It mainly helps you complete a roster without necessarily chasing the strongest cards.
Silver Pack
Official price: 10 Gems, excluding Shadow.
This is a more direct pack if you want to add playable cards to your Colors group.
Gold Pack
Official price: 50 Gems, excluding Shadow.
The Gold 5-card booster also costs 50 Gems. This is the pack to examine carefully if your budget is limited.
Silver or Gold: which one should you choose?
In Colors, the Silver Pack is often the best compromise if you want to improve your group without burning too many Gems. It costs 10 Gems, gives you more attempts and can be more useful when your goal is simply to find playable cards for lineups.
The Gold Pack costs 50 Gems. It becomes more interesting if your roster is already decent and you are mainly looking for a big upgrade, but it is also riskier: you commit a lot of Gems to one opening.
Simple advice: if you are starting Colors, lean toward Silver to build a solid base. Move to Gold only if you already have enough usable players and can accept that a premium pack may not solve your immediate need.
Shadow cards are cards without an image. They can help complete your roster, but they do not have the visual bonuses of other variations. Shadow Silver and Shadow Gold packs can also appear as gifts or rewards.
The Colors interface may also show Live Today packs at 25 Gems, 10 Gems or 1000 Essence depending on the displayed format. Before opening, always check the possible content and the currency used.
Gems and Essence in Sorare Colors
Gems and Essence are the two resources beginners should treat carefully. Essence is usually the safer rhythm for trying Bronze packs, while Gems can accelerate your Colors progression if you already understand what your roster needs.
A simple rule: do not spend just because a pack is available. Check your next mission first, then decide whether you need a goalkeeper, a specific position, a higher-star player or more depth for upcoming match-ups.
If you want to stay fully free-to-play, keep enough Essence for the next daily objective cycle instead of emptying your balance after one unlucky pack.
Colors cards: stars, positions and playing time
Colors cards are not all equal. Players can be ranked by star level, and special editions such as Shiny or Holo can add bonuses or better event utility.
Before opening an extra pack, check what you are missing: a goalkeeper, a specific position, a stronger star tier, a mission requirement or a national-team collection angle.
Stars help, but they are not enough. Always check match-ups, expected minutes, injuries and rotation risk before submitting a lineup.
Squad Colors: team mode explained
Sorare also uses collective mechanics around squads. The key idea is that a squad combines the efforts of several managers and may use the best scores from the group.
Do not read that as “you personally must create three lineups” unless the official interface explicitly says so. Treat it as a group mechanic first.
Golden Score and raffle mechanics can create extra objectives, but they should stay secondary for beginners. First focus on a clean lineup and a clear understanding of the board.
How to play Sorare Colors without spreading yourself too thin
- Open the free Starter Pack and inspect every position before doing anything else.
- Protect goalkeeper depth because it often limits lineup options.
- Keep roughly 3,000 Essence available when possible, because a daily objective can require a 3-star player and not every Bronze pack gives you one.
- Use stars to understand player strength, but still check real fixtures, match-ups and minutes.
- Do the daily objectives when they help your board progression and Wheel tickets.
- If you plan to buy Gems, buying them early in the event can create a snowball effect. If you do not plan to buy Gems, stay disciplined and play the free route.
