Sorare Set Hyperglitch: release date, cards and early details

What is Sorare Set Hyperglitch?

Hyperglitch is the next chapter of Sorare Set. Like previous editions, it is a temporary experience built around Set cards, packs, five-player lineups and a progression board.

The name Hyperglitch was hidden in the teaser released before launch. Its visual world appears to draw on digital glitches, neon colors and distorted images. More importantly, the theme separates this new collection from Colors, the Set linked to the 2026 World Cup.

The full rules are not public yet. We therefore need to separate what Sorare has confirmed from the details that will only become visible when the Set opens.

When does Sorare Hyperglitch start and end?

Sorare Set Hyperglitch officially starts on September 8, 2026. Sorare confirmed the date in its post about the end of Summer Camp.

The Set is expected to stay active for around three months. Its exact end date and closing time still need to be confirmed in the interface. If the announced duration remains unchanged, Hyperglitch should run until early December 2026.

The difference between an estimated date and an official deadline matters. A lineup may be affected if its final covered match falls after the board closes. We will add the exact date and time here as soon as Sorare publishes them.

What happens to Colors and Summer Camp cards?

The transition has already been documented. Since September 7, 2026 at 10:00 CET, Colors and Summer Camp cards can no longer be used in Set lineups. They remain visible in your collections.

Summer Camp collection missions have also closed. Any Gem rewards that had not yet been claimed from the board or missions should be credited to your account automatically.

Gems, Essence and Wheel tickets: what carries over?

The three resources do not follow the same rule during the transition.

• Gems: your balance carries over to Hyperglitch.
• Colors and Summer Camp Essence: unused Essence does not carry over to the new Set.
• Wheel tickets: unused tickets do not carry over.
• Unclaimed rewards: Gems from the board and missions should be added automatically.

Your Gem balance is therefore the main resource to watch. It may let you open packs as soon as Hyperglitch launches, but spending immediately is not necessarily the best move. Waiting to see pack odds, available leagues and the weaknesses in your roster can stop you from wasting a scarce resource.

What loyalty rewards are available before Hyperglitch?

Sorare is also rewarding activity during Colors and Summer Camp. For every 10% of the Summer Camp collection completed, managers receive 500 Essence for the new Set. Managers who completed at least 70% of the collection are also set to receive an extra 5 Gems.

Additional Gems may be awarded based on how many Gems were used during Colors and Summer Camp. The calculation takes place when the previous Set closes, with the reward expected before the new Set begins.

This bonus gives you a head start, but it does not replace a sensible strategy. Even a large Essence balance can leave you with an unbalanced roster if you open too many packs before knowing which positions and leagues you actually need.

Hyperglitch Starter Pack, leagues and packs

At this stage, Sorare has not published the full details of the Hyperglitch Starter Pack, the leagues covered or pack prices. Prices from Colors should not be presented as the prices for the new Set.

These are the four details to check as soon as Hyperglitch opens:

1. how many cards come in the free Starter Pack;
2. the split between goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders and forwards;
3. which leagues and competitions are actually covered;
4. the price and odds of packs bought with Essence or Gems.

The teaser puts a strong focus on the Set’s visual identity. That alone is not enough to identify the playable leagues or the bonuses attached to future cards. We will wait for the rules displayed in the game before publishing figures.

Should you buy Gems on day one?

Not necessarily. A new Set creates plenty of excitement, but the first packs are only useful if you understand what they contain and how they fit your progression.

If you carried Gems over from Summer Camp, start with that balance and your loyalty rewards. Review your Starter Pack, the board levels and missions. You can then decide whether a Silver or Gold pack would genuinely improve your roster, provided those formats return in Hyperglitch.

For beginners, the real advantage is not spending faster. It is keeping enough resources to strengthen a weak position or complete a lineup at the right time.

Our verdict before launch

Hyperglitch arrives at a good time. Europe’s major leagues are back, which should provide more fixtures and choices than some of the international-only periods during Colors.

The real test will be the balance between free progression and paid packs. If the levels are too demanding or the best cards are concentrated in premium packs, the Set could become frustrating. If Sorare keeps a healthy supply of free packs, Essence and missions, Hyperglitch should remain an excellent way to learn the scoring system.

Our advice is simple: start playing at launch, but do not spend all your Gems on day one. Your first lineups and the community’s early feedback should quickly reveal what your roster truly needs.
